What are some good animes to watch?
What are some good animes to watch? I'm in the procces of watching CardCaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I hate Naruto. I find it has no plot whatsoever and is a waste of time.
I don't like that things that are porn and bloody. I mostly prefer Magical Girl, a small, but important romance plot behind an actiony-adventure plot, and fantasy. Oh, and I'm really picky about what I watch, but I'm open to any suggestions. Oh, and don't say Bleach, Ouran High School, or Inuyasha. I'm never going to watch them, so there is no point in suggesting them. Oh, one more thing try not to give me just initials of the name of anime. I won't know what you're talking about then. Oh, and I heard that Death Note was extremely violent. To Kylie L: What does that have to do with anything? the dark: I alrady knew about their relationship and about book 3.

I didn't check were the ones in my details that I said not to put or those I had already decided along time ago if I wanted or not to watch them.

by the way, I'm already watching Code Lyoko, and had already planned to watch Tokyo Mew Mew and Mermaid Melody.

Full metal alchemist(FMA)= has 51 eps, good storyline and awarded best anime in USA and japan 2 years running DBZ= one of most popular but its really long so i dont reccomend.

obviously you like girlish stuff.. try gakuen alice, sugar sugar rune,lovely complex (if you like odd love stories), howl's moving castle( magical love story..), spirited away (jap ghost tale pretty cure.. those are animes i'd probably watch.. theres more but thats what i could come up to right now. ^

I totally agree with the first answer.
Metal Alchemist has an excellent storyline. If you watch the sub version you may have to watch them more than once to fully understand everything that's going on unless you lock yourself in a room and watch em, but the good news is that there's only 51 episodes and 2 movies. I also enjoyed watching Dot Hack.
first season wasn't that long. I think you'll really like that also, maybe even more than FMA.
is still my favorite though. A perfect match for you would probably be Vision of Escaflowne. It has it all. Romance, fantasy, adventure.
an awesome series. Lastly, there's Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play. I've only been able to see a few episodes but it has everything you are looking for.
If your watching CCS, you'll definatly like Tsubasa Chronicles cuz the main characters are Sakura and Shaoran as the main characters except older.
there are other CLAMP productions in there as well.

1. Scrapped Princess 2. Planetes (not sure if it has tons of violence and junk cause i have only seen 2 episodes but its really good so far) 3. A Cheeky Angel (It has some violence, but its supposed to be like a romantic comedy, I know that the book is rated like T+ But its really good) 4. Powerpuff (girls) Z (Way better than the english version/Power Puff Girls/PPG Instead of them being in kindergarten, they are like 13 years old here, and they acually have HANDS and FEET!)
