Niantic recently held the 10th Pokémon GO Community Day, which officially took place on Sunday, October 21, for three hours in various territories across the globe. The latest worldwide event featured increased spawns of Beldum, the new exclusive move Meteor Mash for Metagross, 1/4 Egg hatch distance and three-hour Lures. Metang evolved during October Community Day know the powerful Steel-type move Meteor Mash. This exclusive move could have still been learned one hour after Community Day ended. Shiny Beldum, Shiny Metang and Shiny Metagross have also made their Pokémon GO debuts. A special Community Day Box was also made available for purchase via the in-game store. It came with three Egg Incubators, three Lucky Eggs, one Lure Module and 30 Ultra Balls. Check below to find out when event hours fell in your region of the world:
- The Asia-Pacific region: October 21, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India: October 21, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. UTC
- The Americas and Greenland: October 21, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT
Niantic has confirmed major gameplay issues that impacted Community Day in the Asian-Pacific region. An additional Beldum Community Day will be held for Asia-Pacific Trainers to make up for the inconvenience. The new date will be announced soon.
