The Pokémon Company recently revealed that this year’s Pokémon anime movie – officially titled Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution – will premiere in Japan on July 12, 2019. The upcoming movie is being directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara, while the screenplay is by Takeshi Shudo. The Pokémon Company is continuing to reveal brand-new information about Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution leading up to the movie’s premiere. Armored Mewtwo is among the new assets that feature in the film. While supplies last, fans who purchase the pamphlet for the film will receive an official reprint of the iconic Ancient Mew card. Meanwhile, a world premiere of another new trailer for the movie has aired on the Japanese variety show Oha Suta.
