Pokémon GO‘s latest April Fool’s Day gag is now live in various territories across the globe. Starting at 8 a.m. local time on April 1, 2020, players of Niantic’s immensely-popular mobile game will be able to take part in this year’s event. As part of the event, Croagunk and Aipom are appearing in photobombs via GO Snapshot. Meanwhile, Sudowoodo is available as a Field Research encounter reward if you feed a treat to your Buddy Pokémon.
In addition, there’s an increased number of spawns of certain Pokémon that are known to mimic the appearance of others. These Pokémon include Voltorb, Ditto, Foongus, Stunfisk and Stunfisk. Stunfisk, Shiny Stunfisk, Shiny Croagunk and Shiny Toxicroak are now available in Pokémon for the first time.
