You can now hatch Tangela and Nidoran♀ and classic sync pairs return during the Grass- and Poison-Type Egg Event in Pokémon Masters EX

Pokémon Masters EX, the strategy and battling Pokémon game for mobile platforms, is now available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). In celebration of the game’s popularity, special in-game events and rewards are being offered for all players to take part in on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:

Hatch Tangela and Nidoran♀ in Pokémon Masters EX

These two Pokémon get hatching and some classic sync pairs return during the Grass- and Poison-Type Egg Event.

Things are hatching on Pasio with the arrival of Pokémon Masters EX’s Grass- and Poison-Type Egg Event. From June 20, 2021, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to July 4, 2021, at 10:59 p.m. PDT, you’ll have an increased chance of earning Eggs from battles. If you leave these Eggs in an incubator in Professor Bellis’s Lab, they’ll be able to hatch not only Bulbasaur but also Grass- or Poison-type Pokémon like Tangela and Nidoran♀.

Also during this event, a trio of sync pairs will return to the sync pair scout. Dawn & Turtwig, Lyra & Chikorita, and Plumeria & Salazzle have all come back for another appearance, so if you missed any of them before, this is a great opportunity to add them to your team.

Hatch Grass-type and Poison-type Eggs!

You can check out the Grass- and Poison-Type Egg Event during the time period below.

In this event, you can receive an Egg from Professor Bellis that hatches into a Pokémon that is either Grass type or Poison type!

Note: During this event period, you cannot receive Eggs from Professor Bellis by completing areas outside of this event.

  • Tangela*
  • Bulbasaur*
  • Nidoran♀*
  • Zubat

Note: Pokémon listed with an * may hatch as Shiny Pokémon.

Event Details

Opponent sync pairs in this event are weak against Grass types and Poison types.

You can prepare your favorite Grass-type and Poison-type sync pairs and take them on!

Limited-Time Incubator

One limited-time incubator will be added to Bellis’s Lab for the duration of this event only.

Try hatching lots of Eggs during the event period!

Note: If an Egg is still in the limited-time incubator when the event ends, the limited-time incubator will remain active until that Egg hatches.

Lineup Bonuses

You have an increased chance of receiving Eggs if you take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs.

The more of these sync pairs you place in your lineup, the higher your Egg reward rate will be!

Applicable Sync Pairs

  • Player Character Sync PairsEgg reward rate: ×1.4!
  • Grass-type and Poison-type Player Character sync pairsEgg reward rate: ×1.8!
  • Grass-type and Poison-type sync pairsEgg reward rate: ×1.2!

The lineup bonus is ×1 by default and varies according to which sync pairs are on the team.

Example: If you place a ×1.8, a ×1.2, and a ×1.2 sync pair on your team, your chances of receiving an Egg will be increased by ×2.2.

Important

  • To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
