Fans to Discover Oddish in Upcoming Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet—151 Expansion and Various Activations Across the Brand
In honor of “Discover Pokémon Together: Oddish,” The Pokémon Company International released a new video featuring Oddish as it wanders around at night, scattering its seeds in the moonlight, before it encounters an angry group of Rattata.
Trainers can also discover Oddish through the following product offerings and in-game events throughout September.
Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—151 to Feature Oddish
The next special expansion of the bestselling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Scarlet & Violet—151, will feature all original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region—including Oddish—newly reimagined in Paldea. Trainers can find cards from Scarlet & Violet—151 in a variety of products launching worldwide beginning Sept. 22, 2023, at participating retailers and at Pokémon Center in the U.S., Canada and U.K.
Stream Oddish on YouTube and Twitch
Trainers can stream “Pokémon: Path to the Peak,” an original animated series that follows Ava and her partner Pokémon, Oddish, on their journey to rise to the top in the world of competitive Pokémon TCG play. Originally premiered during a special screening at the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, all episodes are available to watch now on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
Trainers can also learn more about the endearing Grass-type Pokémon by tuning in to the newest “Beyond the Pokédex” episode, which examines how Oddish has appeared across the franchise, including in video games, the Pokémon TCG, animation, and more. The episode is available now on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
Furthermore, a celebratory animation marathon will be livestreamed today from 2-5 p.m. PDT on Twitch.tv/Pokemon, featuring episodes of the current Pokémon animated series that spotlight Oddish.
Oddish-Themed Activities in Pokémon GO
A special Research Day is coming to Pokémon GO on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, from 2-5 p.m. local time. For a limited time, players can encounter an increased number of Oddish in Pokémon GO and will have the opportunity to earn special in-game bonuses and rewards.
