Add these Paradox Pokémon to your collection while they appear at Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Tera Raid crystals.

Here comes the swarm—Slither Wing is appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet, and Iron Moth is appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Violet! You’ll be able to take on these version-exclusive Paradox Pokémon from Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. These Pokémon will have various Tera Types, so prepare wisely before challenging them—and try joining Tera Raid Battles hosted by Trainers playing the other version of the game to help complete your Pokédex!

For the opportunity to encounter these Pokémon in Tera Raid Battles, you’ll need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. You can do this by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. After that, whenever you see a sparkling pillar of light shining from a Tera Raid crystal, you can walk up to the crystal and interact with it to start a Tera Raid Battle with a Tera Pokémon.

Information about Tera Raid Battle Events

• To participate in Tera Raid Battle events, please download the latest Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. You do not need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to receive the latest Poké Portal News.
• A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online. Terms apply. Learn more at https://www.nintendo.com/switch-online.
• Tera Raid Battle events will occur only in the Paldea region.
