Be on the lookout for Shiny Pokémon appearing in festive mass outbreaks across Paldea and Kitakami.

The holidays are fast approaching—and so is The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk—so there’s lots to celebrate in this Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet mass outbreak event! From Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. PST, to Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 3:59 p.m. PST, mass outbreaks of Flabébé will be appearing throughout Paldea and mass outbreaks of Litwick will be appearing throughout Kitakami. Shiny Pokémon are more likely to appear in these special mass outbreaks, so don’t miss your chance to find one!

Mass outbreaks are a phenomenon in which many of the same species of Pokémon appear in one location. To participate in mass outbreak events, you will need to download the latest Poké Portal News and install the latest update data for your game.
