The Pokemon Company and Game Freak have confirmed that the goal for the first global mission – “Catch a lot of Pokémon!” – was not met. Props to everyone who contributed their Pokémon tally in an effort to catch 100 million Pokémon worldwide in Pokémon Sun and Moon. As a participation gift, anyone who added their Pokémon to the count will receive a prize of 100 Festival Coins. In addition, those who registered their Game Sync ID at the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) will earn double the Festival Coins for this and future global missions.
