The first batch of Legendary Pokémon, such as Mew and Mewtwo, are set to appear in Pokémon GO by the year’s end. According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, making Legendary Pokémon available to catch in the mobile game is a priority for the developer this year. “I can say with certainty that we will see it more this year,” Hanke said when asked about when legendary Pokémon are due to arrive. Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are also among the Legendaries arriving sometime in 2017.
