Allister Singh and MatPat crowned as the 2017 Pokkén Tournament DX Invitational champions at E3

The 2017 Pokkén Tournament DX Invitational has officially concluded at E3 2017. It featured competitors such as NRG Nairo, MatPat, Stephanie Patrick, JD Witherspoon, Juston Wong, Andre Meadows, Allister Singh and Ken Hoang. The team of Allister Singh and MatPat managed to come out on top with their Suicune and Empoleon, respectively, and have been crowned as the winners.

For coming out on top, the winners were presented by a Pokkén Tournament DX art piece signed by Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, and members of the development team at Bandai Namco. Allister and MatPat also got the opportunity to battle against game director Haruki Suzaki and producer Masaaki Hoshino, but they ultimately lost against the talented devs.
