The first-ever Solstice Event in Pokémon GO has officially concluded. The latest in-game event ended earlier today, June 21, at 1 p.m. PDT. As part of the Solstice Celebration, hot Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Typhlosion, Houndour and Charizard, as well as chilly Ice-type Pokémon such as Sneasel and Lapras were appearing more frequently. Plus, players were able to get massive XP boosts when they accomplished certain actions in the game. For example, catching a Pokémon with a Curveball throw rewarded you 30 XP instead of the usual 10 XP. Finally, Lucky Eggs were 50 percent off in the in-game shop.
