Pokémon Gold and Silver is set to be re-released via the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console service in South Korea on September 22 – the same date as other regions. The two classics were originally released in Japan on November 21, 1999, as the second set of titles in the Pokémon series. These games, which were the first titles in the Pokémon series to be designed for the Game Boy Color, will be recreated in their Virtual Console versions so their screens appear just as they did on the Game Boy Color.
