Nintendo recently registered a few Pokémon-related trademarks in China, which apply to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokkén Tournament and Pokkén Tournament DX, plus additional trademarks for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon along with Creatures Inc. and Game Freak. This is likely toward an effort to protect Nintendo’s properties in China. Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon and Pokkén Tournament are scheduled to arrive later this year for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch, respectively.
