According to That Hashtag Show, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson are all allegedly among Legendary Pictures’ top choices to voice the titular character in Detective Pikachu. However, none of the actors have apparently taken any meetings yet about the role. Set to start filming in London early next year, the upcoming Pokémon movie is being helmed by Goosebumps director Rob Letterman is heading the project, working from a script written by Nicole Perlman (Captain Marvel) and Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls).
