Pokémon GO developer Niantic recently announced its latest update for its immensely-popular mobile game, version 0.81.1 for Android and 1.51.1 for iOS devices. However, it has since halted the release of the 0.81.1 patch due to observed performance issues:
“Trainers, we’ve halted the rollout of Pokémon GO version 0.81.1 due to performance issues we’ve observed over the past few days,” the developer said in a statement. “While we investigate the issues in 0.81.1, we’ll be rolling out Pokémon GO version 0.79.4 with some minor fixes.”
