Regigigas and Heatran are the latest Pokémon featured in The Pokémon Company’s yearlong celebration of Legendary Pokémon. As part of the ongoing fun, Trainers playing Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun can get the colossal Regigigas, and Trainers playing Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon can add the fiery power of Heatran to their game. A code to receive Legendary Pokémon is now being sent out as part of the latest Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter for March for those in North America. This code that must be redeemed by June 28, 2018. February 28 was your last chance to sign up for the official newsletter to receive the codes for Heatran and Regigigas. Meanwhile, Heatran and Regigigas are currently being wirelessly distributed via the Nintendo Network Mystery Gift option on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems until March 24 for players in Europe.

PTC messed up on this one. I’ve been opted in for their newsletter emails for at least 2+ years and I have never once received a newsletter. There’s a thread on Reddit for this topic, half of the commenters have received the newsletter with their code, and the other half (like me) did not. I emailed support but got a generic response saying they can’t resend newsletters and gave me a bunch of a troubleshooting steps I did back in Jan/Feb.

It’s unfortunate somewhere like this blog or a gamer news site hasn’t put out an article about this epic failure. If it got some coverage, they might fix their mistake and make the codes available another way.
