According to the Japanese version of the Super Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, data collected from it may be used for future Super Smash Bros. titles, including the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo Switch, which is set to arrive later this year. As you may recall, Platinum Games’ Bayonetta was the most popular character from the Ballot and therefore made her debut as the final Super Smash Bros. fighter for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
