Legendary Pokémon Entei and Raikou distribution codes now available at Target in the U.S. until April 29

Entei and Raikou are the latest Pokémon featured in the yearlong celebration of Legendary Pokémon for Pokémon Sun, Pokémon MoonPokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. The two Legendary Pokémon are now being distributed in various territories, including Europe and Latin America. Until April 29, codes are now being distributed at Microplay stores in Chile and Masgamers in Peru. Fans in Europe and Oceania can now receive the Legendaries via Nintendo Network on Nintendo 3DS until April 25.

Meanwhile, from today, April 22, to April 29, Trainers in the U.S. can visit a participating Target retail location nationwide to receive the Legendary Pokémon Raikou or Entei. Fans in Canada can receive Entei and Raikou via the April edition of the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter, which is now being sent out to subscribers. Entei is exclusive to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Sun players, while Raikou is available to unlock in Pokémon Ultra Moon and Pokémon Moon.


  1. Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
  2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
  3. Select Receive Gift.
  4. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
  5. Enter your code.
  6. Watch as you receive your Pokémon!
  7. Resume the game, make sure you have an empty space in your party, and speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Pokémon!
  8. Be sure to save your game!

  1. I have gone to two different Target locations and neither had the codes. Also was told they have no knowledge of this promotion.
