This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu contains an extensive 20-page Pokémon special feature covering a slew of Pokémon topics, including Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and the recently-released Pokémon Quest. There’s also an interview with The Pokémon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara. During the interview, Ishihara confirmed that the Pokémon game for Nintendo Switch will release in the second half of 2019. It will feature improved graphics compared to any previous entry in the series. It will be a completely new game, unlike Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. In addition, it will contain many new Pokémon that have never been seen before. It is also aiming to appeal to fans who are familiar and have played older Pokémon games before.
