The final event in Niantic‘s Pokémon GO Summer Tour 2018 is the Yokosuka Pokémon GO Safari Zone, which is taking place from August 29 to September 2 in Yokosuka, Japan. Trainers are now able to find Pokémon not normally seen in Japan, such as the Grass- and Flying-type Pokémon Tropius, Unown, Unown ! and more. Pokémon such as Feebas, Torchic, Mudkip, Treecko and Beldum can also be found more often throughout Japan. Additionally, Wingull is appearing more frequently worldwide and its rare Shiny form has made its Pokémon GO debut. Naturally, Shiny Wingull evolves into Shiny Pelipper. Professor Willow’s Global Challenge will take place on September 1 and 2, giving Trainers all over the world another opportunity to unlock bonuses while they take part in this special event. If all goes well and the tasks are completed, a special Ultra Bonus will be unlocked. Registration is no longer open for the Pokémon GO Safari Zone event in Yokosuka. You could’ve registered for the ticket drawing until Friday, July 20, 10:00 a.m. (JST) through Yokosuka City’s registration website.

Japanese manufacturer Ito En is playing a key role at the Pokémon GO Safari Zone event in Yokosuka. The company is running two booths – one at Verny Park and one at Mikasa Park – where fans can purchase a wide range of Pokémon-themed beverages, including Pokémon Soda. Meanwhile, also from August 29 to September 2, a number of stores within the region are giving players a set of Pokémon GO stickers when they spend a certain amount and show some sort of proof of owning the mobile game.

special Unown event is currently taking place for Pokémon GO players at the Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Yokosuka. Starting today, August 29, Pokémon GO Safari Zone attendees can find increased encounters of at least eight different variations of Unown shaped as the letters Y, O, K, S, U, A, G and ! at the event. This particular event is expected to last until September 2. You can now follow Wingull as it flies around Yokosuka on Instagram.
