First look at the new PokéStop nomination feature in Pokémon GO, complete with step-by-step pictures straight from Korea

Niantic recently kicked off a PokéStop nomination feature for Pokémon GO, which has officially entered beta for level 40 players in South Korea and Brazil. This feature is currently limited to level 40 Trainers in Brazil and South Korea. Trainers who meet these initial requirements will be able to nominate potential PokéStops by submitting photographs and descriptions of the locations. Submissions will be reviewed by experienced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon (OPR) project. Continue below for a first look and feel for the beta testing in Korea:

[PokéStop Nomination]

Version 0.119.2 for Android
Version 1.89.1 for iOS

The submission successfully worked in Korea. The difference with Ingress is seven submissions per two weeks, input additional surrounding photo, and additional description, the reason why the location is important. The following additional support pictures and statements can confirm on Ingress’s OPR review. Therefore, OPR review members currently differentiate the request where it came from:
