For the past few months, Pokémon GO Trainers all over the world have come together to meet the goals of Professor Willow’s Global Research Challenge. Thanks to everyone’s incredible efforts, Niantic is now celebrating with a special Ultra Bonus Event. Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region are now appearing more frequently all over the world and are showing up more frequently in Raid Battles until September 30 at 20:00 UTC. Through the end of September, Trainers can also hatch Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros from 7 km Eggs. These elusive Pokémon are typically found in Asia, Oceania, Europe and North America, respectively, and rarely migrate outside of those regions. While Pokémon like Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime and Tauros are currently hatching from 7km Eggs, Niantic says they are still very rare. Shiny Geodude, Shiny Graveler, Shiny Golem, Shiny Grimer and Shiny Muk have also made their Pokémon GO debuts. A updated set of Raid Bosses are now available across all tiers:
- Level 1 – Magikarp, Omanyte, Kabuto and Wailmer
- Level 2 – Electabuzz, Sudowoodo, Mawile and Manectric
- Level 3 – Machamp, Onix, Tangela, Jolteon and Aerodactyl
- Level 4 – Golem, Shiny Golem, Alolan Marowak, Rhydon, Tyranitar and Absol
