The Pokémon Company officially details the Psychic Spectacular/Psychic Week event for Pokémon GO

The first-ever Psychic Week event has been announced for Pokémon GO. It is set to kick off tomorrow, October 5, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) to Oct. 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). Psychic-type Pokémon will appear in the wild more frequently, including Slowbro, Drowzee, Abra, Spoink, Ralts and Baltoy. Shiny Drowzee and Shiny Hypno will also make its Pokémon GO debut. Additional Field Research focusing on Psychic-type Pokémon will be available as well. For some reason, Pokémon GO developer Niantic initially deleted its published post about the latest in-game event, but the original page is now up and running. The offiical announcement from The Pokémon Company is as follows:

Encounter a wide range of Psychic-type Pokémon and catch a Shiny Drowzee during the Pokémon GO Psychic Spectacular.

The mighty Mewtwo’s continued appearance in Raid Battles has apparently shaken things up in the world of Pokémon GO. There has been a swell of Psychic-type Pokémon activity, leading to a full-fledged Pokémon GO Psychic Spectacular, which will take place from October 5, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to October 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. PDT.

During this exciting event, Psychic-type Pokémon will appear with increased frequency. Be on the lookout for Pokémon such as Abra, Natu, and Baltoy. Additionally, there will be Field Research during the Psychic Spectacular that focuses on Psychic-type Pokémon. And keep a watchful eye open, as there’s a chance you’ll encounter a Shiny Drowzee!

Concentrate and stay focused, and you’re bound to catch all sorts of incredible Psychic-type Pokémon during this event. From October 5 to 14, it’s going to be mind over matter!
