New Pokémon GO update 1.91.1 and 0.123.2 now live on iOS and Android, Sinnoh Pokémon arriving very soon

Pokémon GO has been updated across all supported mobile devices, bringing the immensely-popular mobile game to version 1.91.1 and 0.123.2 on iOS and Android, respectively. In addition to implementing bug fixes, the new update officially adds content in the background for the imminent dispatch of Sinnoh Pokémon. It also adds an option to group similar in-game notifications together, as well as a change so that alerts no longer obstruct the Pokémon GO Plus icon. The update also tweaks the look of in-game text for when a wild Pokémon appears. In addition, the update implements a feature that allows you to simultaneously choose multiple Pokémon when creating a team of Pokémon to battle at a Gym or Raid. Official patch notes from the development team at Niantic are as follows:

– Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region are arriving in Pokémon GO
– Friend Requests and Gift notifications will now stack
– You can now select multiple Pokémon at a time when preparing to battle at a Gym or participate in a Raid Battle
– Various bug fixes and performance updates
