The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo disappears from Pokémon GO Raid Battles on October 23 at 1 p.m. PDT

One of the newest Pokémon GO Raid Bosses is a long-awaited challenger—the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is finally available outside of EX Raids. Mewtwo is one of the most powerful combatants in the world of Pokémon, so this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Get out there and challenge it before it stops appearing as a Raid Boss on October 23 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Mewtwo can now learn the new moves Flamethrower, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. One of these moves replaces Shadow Ball or Hyper Beam. You’ll only be able to use the Premier Balls you earn from defeating Mewtwo to catch it, so it’s crucial to be prepared. Try to take over the Gym before the Raid starts, battle alongside your friends, and pick Pokémon that will perform well in battle to maximize your chances. Three new boxes are now available for purchase to help you catch the Legendary Pokémon. Despite what a number of fans were anticipating, Shiny Mewtwo is not yet available in Pokémon GO, but stay tuned for any updates.
