Nintendo and The Pokémon Company International hosted special opportunities to play the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games for the Nintendo Switch system before they launched on November 16. The cross-country Pokémon: Let’s Go, Road Trip! tour kicked off in Los Angeles with multi-platinum recording artist, actress and self-proclaimed Pokémon fan Jordin Sparks, who joined hundreds of fans to play the new games and mingle with Pikachu and Eevee in person. The Road Trip tour recently took place in San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas and Topeka (ToPikachu). Originally scheduled to take place on November 3, the road trip’s Chicago stop was held on November 4 at Millennium Park. It was raining all day for attendees in Chicago, but Nintendo was equipped with a large tent and bus for fans to play and take shelter. The Road Trip tour also took place on November 10 in Boston, Massachusetts. The final stop of the tour is a launch special event at the Nintendo NY store in New York today, November 16. While supplies last, a keychain set is one of the many giveaways up for grabs with your purchase of Pokémon Let’s Go at Nintendo NY. YouTuber CND was among the Nintendo fans who attended the launch event.
