Niantic recently hosted the latest Pokémon GO Community Day, which took place on Saturday, November 10, for three hours in various territories across the globe. The worldwide event featured increased spawns of Cyndaquil, the new exclusive move Blast Burn for Typhlosion, 2x Catch XP and 2x Catch Stardust. Quilava evolved during November Community Day learned the powerful Fire-type move Blast Burn. Shiny Cyndaquil, Shiny Quilava and Shiny Typhlosion have also made their Pokémon GO debuts. - The Asia-Pacific region: November 10, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India: November 10, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. UTC
- The Americas and Greenland: November 10, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT
With the Stardust Blast doubling Hatch Stardust and Catch Stardust, Trainers were able to enjoy a quadruple Catch Stardust bonus during their region’s Community Day. The Community Day had a rough start for a number of users in the Asia-Pacific region, with numerous reported server and loading issues. Niantic has addressed them and confirmed that gameplay issues have since been resolved. Instead of announcing a second Cyndaquil Community Day, the Asia-Pacific Community Day was extended by an additional two hours. To see more photos from the latest Community Day, click here. Team Mystic once again dominated Pokémon GO Community Day by catching the most Pokémon, Cyndaquil and Shiny Cyndaquil per player. This is the team’s 11th time in a row to attain the top spot over Team Instinct and Team Valor.
