January and February 2019 Field Research in Pokémon GO begins tomorrow, January 1, at 1 p.m. PST

Niantic recently announced the first Field Research details for Pokémon GO players in January and February 2019. Starting on January 1, when you reach a Research Breakthrough in either month you’ll have the chance to encounter several Legendary Pokémon, including Lugia and Ho-Oh. Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Raikou, Entei and Suicune will also be featured as Research Breakthrough rewards. All eight of these Legendary Pokémon will be available as potential Research Breakthrough encounters until the end of February.

Jan. 1, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8) until Mar. 1, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.
