Video: Pokémon Festa, Pokémon GO Week 2019, Shiny Pikachu and Shiny Eevee distributions start soon in South Korea

This year’s Pokémon Festa is set to take place from May 3 to May 12, 2019, in South Korea. A host of Pokémon-themed activities will be available for fans of all ages to take part in, such as meet-and-greet sessions with official Pokémon mascots and various pop-up stores. There will also be another Pokémon GO Week event, which will be held from May 4 to May 6. During this period, increased spawns of numerous Pokémon will be made available throughout Korea. In addition, rare spawns of Corsola, Unown, Combee, Solrock, Growlithe and Wailmer can be found at the Starfield Hanam and Starfield COEX shopping malls.

Throughout the month of May, customers who buy a copy of Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee from participating retailers will receive a special code to unlock Shiny Pikachu or Shiny Eevee, respectively. If you already own the game, you can get a code at this year’s Pokémon Festa from May 3 to May 12 by presenting to staff your Nintendo Switch with the digital version of the game installed, the actual game card or even a Poké Ball Plus. The code unlocks Shiny Pikachu in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu or Shiny Eevee in Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee. Shiny Pikachu is at level 10 with the moves Quick Attack, Helping Hand, Thunderbolt and Iron Tail. Shiny Eevee is also level 10 and comes with the moves Dig, Helping Hand, Double-Edge and Iron Tail.
