POKÉMON Detective Pikachu stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular hero himself, with Justice Smith playing a leading role as Tim Goodman and Kathryn Newton as Lucy Stevens.

Detective Pikachu had a strong showing at the weekend box office. Detective Pikachu gave Avengers: Endgame a run for its money during its opening weekend. While the live-action Pokémon adaptation failed to surpass the Marvel film, it did pull in an estimated $58 million.
