More details were recently revealed about Max Raid Battles and the Wild Area, new features in the highly anticipated games, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. A new Gym Leader and Poké Ball Plus compatibility with the games were also announced. The newest additions to the main series of the Pokémon role-playing video game franchise, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be launching November 15, 2019 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Pokémon HOME only allows you to transfer Pokémon that appear in the Galar Pokédex for Pokémon Sword and Shield. In a recent interview with USgamer, Game Freak talked about why this is the case and a number of other topics. However, in a new issue of Famitsu, Junichi Masuda says that his team has not yet decided on whether they should include Pokémon that don’t appear in the Galar Pokédex. Famitsu has also revealed that Game Freak chose not to include Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Instead, the new feature that is being focused on is Dynamax.
