Pre-booking tickets postponed for Pokémon the Movie: Coco, movie premiere still set for July 10

Pre-booking tickets for Pokémon the Movie: Coco have officially been postponed by The Pokémon Company. The date to pre-book tickets was initially set for April 17. However, the movie is still set to make its premiere on July 10, 2020, in Japan. Read on below for a translation of the official announcement:

Regarding the special advance ticket for Theater version Pokemon Coco which was scheduled to be released at movie theaters and distribution stores from April 17, 2020 (Friday), due to the spread of infection with the new coronavirus, The release date has been postponed. We sincerely apologize to our customers for their pleasure. The upcoming release schedule and the distribution period of the advance ticket benefits will be announced on the movie official website and SNS as soon as they are decided. There are no plans to postpone the movie release date on July 10, 2020 (Friday). We ask for your understanding and consideration.
