Timed Research section sometimes disappears after tasks are completed

Invited friends are removed from the raid if all Pokémon in their battle party faint during the Raid Battle
Issue description:
Instead of being returned to the lobby to select their next battle party, invited friends are removed from the raid if all Pokémon in their battle party faint during the Raid Battle,
Issue workaround: Friends who are removed from the raid are able to rejoin the raid by accessing the raid invite through the “Nearby” menu.
Issue status: Resolved in recent update (0.181.1)
Visual bug: Invited friends who rejoin a Raid Battle are requested to use another Raid Pass
Issue description: If you join a Raid Battle remotely through a friend’s invite and are removed to the Map View (e.g., after an app crash) after the Raid Battle begins, you must have another Remote Raid Pass in your Item Bag before you are able to rejoin the battle. This is a visual bug and the second pass is not actually consumed upon re-entry. However, due to this issue players without an additional Remote Raid Pass in their Item Bag may be requested to purchase one to be able to rejoin the Raid Battle.
Issue status: Resolved in recent update (0.181.1)

Issue status: Resolved in recent update (0.181.1)
Avatars don’t show up properly in raid lobbies
Issue description
: We are investigating reports of Trainer avatars appearing incorrectly in raid lobbies. Some avatars do not appear at all, while others may appear as silhouettes or with incorrect textures on their avatar items. Occasionally, players may also see avatars in lobbies from previous Raid Battles. In any case, the player count is accurate when these errors occur and should reflect the correct number of players in the raid lobby.

Issue status: Resolved in recent update (0.181.1)

GO Battle League and Trainer Battle Related Issues

  • Opponents using more than two Shields
    Issue description
: Some Trainers have observed their opponents using three or more Shields. When there are latency issues or when one or both Trainers has a weak connection, using a Shield before an opponent’s Charged Attack may not properly consume the Shield, which can result in more than two Shields being used in a single Battle.
Issue status: Adjustments that lessen the occurrence of this error have been put in place, but weak connections may continue to cause this issue.
  • Charged Attacks fired at the same time allow Trainer with first Charged Attack to switch Pokémon
    Issue description
: In Trainer Battles, when Charged Attacks occur at the same time, the Trainer whose move goes first is able to switch their Pokémon before their opponent’s Charged Attack lands.
Issue status: Resolved in recent update (0.181.1)

Buddy Adventure Related Issues

  • Issues affecting the “Battle together” heart
    Issue description
: The “battle together” affection heart is not consistently earned when battling with your buddy in Gyms. There may also be a delay in receiving this heart when earned this way. This bug does not occur when battling with your buddy in other ways, such as battling with Friends or in GO Battle League..
    Issue status: Investigating
  • Poffin bonuses are reset at midnight (local time)
    Issue description
: Poffin bonuses are reset at midnight (local time) regardless of what time the Poffin is consumed by a Buddy Pokémon.
    Issue status: Investigating
