Brand-new story arc for Pokémon Journeys: The Series is called Sword & Shield Edition and will run for four weeks starting on October 23 in Japan

The latest installment of the long-running Pokémon anime series is officially called Pokémon Journeys: The Series, which continues the ongoing adventures of Ash and Pikachu as a new trainer named Go accompanies them along the way. The Pokémon Company recently announced that Pokémon Journeys: The Series will start airing new episodes at a new time on Fridays at 18:55 beginning October 9, 2020, in Japan. To celebrate the new time, a new poster and special trailer have been revealed. Meanwhile, a brand-new story arc called Sword & Shield Edition will run for four weeks starting on October 23 in Japan. It features the Hero of Many Battles forms of both Zacian and Zamazenta, as well as many other iconic Pokémon and moments from Galar. Read on below for a translation of the synopsis:
