Niantic has announced a new Pokémon GO Special Weekend event, which is set to take place on November 7 and November 8, 2020, in Japan. The event is exclusive to those who purchase tickets, which will grant access to exclusive Timed Research and encounters with rare Pokémon, including Shiny Absol, Shiny Mawile, Unown letters B, K, M and S. Information on “Pokémon GO Special Weekend”!

Trainers

We will hold “Pokémon GO Special Weekend” with the official partner of “Pokémon GO” who always supports trainers! The partners who cooperate this time are “Seven-Eleven”, “SoftBank”, and “Matsumotokiyoshi”.

Go to an official partner store near you and get an event ticket. The event will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 and Sunday, November 8, 2020.

What is Pokémon GO Special Weekend?

“Pokémon GO” This is an in-game event of “Pokémon GO” that you can participate in using the “Pokémon GO Special Weekend Participation Ticket” that can be redeemed at the official partner’s store. A promotion code is attached to the “participation ticket”, so get it by the day of the event , register the code from the promotion code input page , and participate in the event. You can participate in the event from anywhere in Japan.

The event is scheduled to be held from 11:00 to 14:00 on Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th. Participating in an event gives you more chances to meet special Pokemon.

Event content

  • Limited time challenge is now available.
  • If you are lucky, you may come across different colors of “Absol” and “Mawile”!
  • You may be able to meet “Unknown” that appears attracted by “Oko” and many Pokemon!

Where can I get the “Pokémon GO Special Weekend Participation Ticket”?
