Niantic updates list of Pokémon GO issues related to GO Battle League as of October 13

Here is a list of issues related to GO Battle League that are currently being investigated by our engineering team. This list will be updated regularly, and issues will be added and removed as they are discovered and resolved. Please note that this is not a comprehensive list of all issues we are aware of or working to fix. You can find the list of known issues unrelated to GO Battle League here.

Increased latency in GO Battle League
Issue description: We are investigating increased latency in Pokémon GO, particularly on app version 0.187, and this is resulting in increased lag in GO Battle League.
Issue status: Resolved in update currently rolling out (0.187.2)
Charged Attacks fired at the same time allow Trainer with first Charged Attack to switch Pokémon
Issue description: In Trainer Battles, when Charged Attacks occur at the same time, the Trainer whose move goes first is able to switch their Pokémon before their opponent’s Charged Attack lands.
Issue status: Resolved
Delay after Charged Attack
Issue description:  Pokémon in Trainer Battles do not always resume combat simultaneously after Charged Attacks. One Pokemon may resume combat after the other, resulting in lost turns.
Issue status: Resolved in 0.185. We are continuing to monitor and investigate further reports of desyncs and delays.
Fast Attacks are slower than intended in Trainer Battles on Android devices
Issue description: On some Android devices, Fast Attacks are landing more slowly than intended in Trainer Battles.
Issue status: Mitigation has been put in place in 0.185.1 and we are continuing to monitor further reports of this issue.
GO Battle League rank and rating sprites are missing
Issue description: A white square is shown instead of the GO Battle League rank and rating sprites on matchmaking screens and the Battle page.
Issue status: Resolved in 0.185.1
Charged Attack button does not work when tapped
Issue description: Occasionally, the Charged Attack button will not work when tapped and the Charged Attack will not fire immediately.
Issue status: Investigating
Charged Attack and Switch buttons disappear
Issue description: The Charged Attack and Switch buttons occasionally disappear and the Trainer is unable to attack or take any actions in battle.
Issue status: Investigating
Wins are not properly counted
Issue description: Occasionally, wins in GO Battle League are not counted in the GO Battle League set and are unrecorded in the Journal.
Issue status: Fix in development. We believe a loss of connection as battles end may be a possible cause for this issue.
Animation of Trainer throwing Poké Ball played repeatedly
Issue description: Occasionally, the animation of a Trainer throwing a Poké Ball will play repeatedly at the beginning of a match, even if the opponent switches Pokémon.
Issue status: Investigating
Trainers are unable to switch Pokémon on the same turn that they use a Fast Attack
Issue description: Trainers are unable to switch their Pokémon on the same turn as a Fast Attack if their opponent uses a Charged Attack on the same turn.
Issue status: Resolved
Post-win screen does not have any buttons to continue to next battle
Issue description: After winning a match, the resultant screen does not have any buttons to progress to the next battle or exit to the Battle page. The win is counted correctly.
Issue status: Investigating
