Each version has a set of exclusive Pokémon (based on the original games). Additionally, each version has a higher chance of encountering the Shiny forms of certain Pokémon. Learn more about the version difference, and how to make your selection [here].

I selected Red Version, can I switch to Green Version (or vice versa)?
No, after confirming your version selection, your ticket Version cannot be changed: pick carefully!
