DeNA is continuing to add more events and new features to Pokémon Masters EX on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:

Story Event: Fight or Fright is back!

The magic words are “Fight or Fright!”
Participate in the Midnight Parade alongside Acerola and Hilbert in their special costumes for Pokémon battles that can win you sweets!

Go to Events

You can exchange sweets for items!

You can earn sweets by completing battles.
After collecting enough sweets, trade them for valuable items using the Exchange Items menu.

There are various kinds of sweets, and the amount and types you can obtain will differ for each battle.
Collect the sweets you need to get the particular items you’re looking for.

Lineup Bonuses

You can earn bonus rewards if you have specific Sync Pairs in your lineup for battles in this event.

The more of these sync pairs you place in your lineup, the more rewards you will obtain!

Applicable Sync Pairs

  • Acerola (Fall 2020) & Mimikyu:

    Sweets ×1.6!

  • Hilbert (Fall 2020) & Mightyena:

    Sweets ×1.6!

  • Morty & Drifblim:

    Sweets ×1.4!

  • Fantina & Mismagius:

    Sweets ×1.4!

  • Shauntal & Chandelure:

    Sweets ×1.2!

  • Agatha & Gengar:

    Sweets ×1.2!

  • Acerola & Palossand:

    Sweets ×1.2!

  • Player Character & Pikachu:

    Sweets ×1.2!

  • Player Character & Torchic:

    Sweets ×1.2!

The lineup bonus is ×1 by default and varies according to which sync pairs are on the team.

Example 1: If you place a ×1.6 Sync Pair and a ×1.2 Sync Pair on your team, you will receive ×1.8 the number of sweets.

Example 2: If you place a ×1.6 Sync Pair and a ×1.6 Sync Pair on your team, you will receive ×2.2 the number of sweets.

  • Parade Wafer
  • Parade Truffle
  • Parade Sweets Bag

Note: Acerola (Fall 2020) & Mimikyu and Acerola & Palossand cannot be in your lineup at the same time.

Note: Sync Pairs with Pokémon that were hatched from Eggs are not applicable for lineup bonuses.

Event Missions

You can take on special missions during the event period.

Event Medals

Event medals are awarded for meeting certain conditions in event missions.

You can try to obtain all of the event medals!

Important

  • This event’s story is the same as the previously held Story Event: Fight or Fright.

    Note: You can claim the rewards even if you previously completed the Story Event: Fight or Fright.

  • To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
  • The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day.

    Reset Time: 11:00 p.m.

  • When the exchange period for the sweets obtained in this event ends, the leftovers will be converted into coins (10 coins each) and sent to your Present Box.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • The content is subject to change without notice.
