One of the first-ever Pokémon starters, Squirtle, is known as the Tiny Turtle Pokémon. Akin to real turtles, Squirtle loves water and has a shell that serves as a protective barrier, minimizes resistance in water and enables it to swim at high speeds. That’s a pretty nifty natural feature to say the least. Happy World Turtle Day to these amazing creatures!
