The mysterious life-forms known as Ultra Beasts have appeared in greater numbers than ever over the past few months—you may have even encountered them yourselves.

But if you haven’t caught a glimpse yet, keep an eye out, because even more Ultra Beasts will be making their way here during Ultra Beast Arrival: Global!

What do these mysterious creatures want? Where do they come from? What does their arrival mean? Could they be a danger to us? We don’t know for sure. We can only hope Pokémon Trainers around the world are ready for this new challenge.

From Monday, November 21, 2022, until Saturday, November 26, 2022, you can combine your efforts with Trainers around the world to reap additional rewards!

As Trainers meet challenges focused on referring friends to join, new bonuses will become available for everyone during Ultra Beast Arrival: Global!

  • 50,000 Trainers referred: all Trainers will receive a Lure Module via a bundle in the in-game shop.
  • 100,00 Trainers referred: all Trainers will be able to use Beast Balls when facing Ultra Beasts during Ultra Beast Arrival: Global.

Event bonuses

1.25× more XP for winning Raid Battles against Ultra Beasts.
Increased chance to receive Rare Candy XL from in-person Raid Battles.
Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event and up to two hours afterward.

Bonuses for groups

When you defeat an Ultra Beast in a Raid Battle, the following Pokémon will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for a short duration.

This semi-translucent life-form’s gelatinous, seemingly fragile facade belies its parasitic nature. It can latch on to a host and alter their thoughts and actions. If sighted, immediately leave the area.

Catching a glimpse of this Ultra Beast has been a near-impossible feat because of its extreme speed. Its lithe, elegant form is predominantly white with gold accents.

We’re further investigating sightings of this mysterious life-form that stands over 2 meters tall. Seek cover when it starts to show off its abnormally swollen muscles, as witnesses claim to have seen it pulverize a dump truck with a single punch.

You’ll know when this life-form is close by when you hear a telltale crackling sound. Standing nearly 4 meters tall, with a body that emanates electricity, Xurkitree possesses lengthy arms and legs that can be used to scale buildings.

The largest Ultra Beast we’ve encountered yet was spotted in Sydney, Australia several weeks ago. Celesteela appears to propel its bulky frame through the air at high speeds using flammable gas.
