There is going to be a new 7-Star Cinderace Tera Raid event that will appear just in time for New Year. The new challenge will follow a similar format to the previous limited-time Charizard Tera Raid event. Cinderace will be a Fire-type Pokémon with Fighting Tera Type, so you will need the right Pokémon to counter it. Let’s take a look at all the details for the latest 7-star Cinderace Tera Raid event, including the duration, rewards, and Cinderace’s abilities it will use in battle.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet – 7-Star Cinderace Tera Raid Event Explained
The Unrivaled Cinderace is a 7-Star Tera Raid event, and only appears for a limited time. You have to be prepared with your best Pokémon to capture it. You will notice black Tera Raid Crystals pop up during the event duration, and you just have to go up to it and interact with it to get the Raid started.
Below are the event durations for the Cinderace 7-Star Tera Raid.
- Phase 1 – December 30th, 2022 – January 1st, 2023
- Phase 2 – January 13th, 2023 – January 15th, 2023
Cinderace will have the Mightiest mark, making it Cinderace the Unrivaled. It will use both Fighting and Fire-type moves in battle, while also using certain Steel, Dark, and Poison attacks. Cinderace might also have the Libero Hidden Ability. This ability will turn Cinderace’s type to the type of move it is about to use, and can be used once per battle. But since Cinderace will have the Fighting Tera Type, it will be of that type throughout the battle.
Some possible moves that Cinderace might use.
- Pyro Ball
- High Jump Kick
- Sucker Punch
Pyro Ball will be Cinderace’s fire-type move, while High Jump Kick is a fighting-type move. Sucker Punch is a dark type, and as mentioned above, Cinderace can use Dark, Steel, and certain Poison attacks as well.
If you manage to beat Cinderace, you might get some Fighting Tera Shard, XL EXP Candies, and Ability Patches as rewards. These are similar to how it was during the Charizard 7-Star Tera Raid. There could be other rewards, and you can get them all by clearing the raid over and over. But if you want to capture Cinderace, you can only do that once per account.
Cinderace will bring in the New Year in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, since 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, according to the Japanese Zodiac. With the right Pokémon, you can quickly counter Cinderace and add it to your Pokedex.
