The Pokémon Company has resolved an issue that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players have reported regarding errors displayed in the rewards screen of Chest Form Gimmighoul Tera Raid Battles

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are now available for Nintendo Switch. Read on below to learn more about one of the latest in-game events:

Challenge Chest Form Gimmighoul Soon!

Seek Out Your Fortune with the Coin Chest Pokémon!
From Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 15:00 UTC to Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 23:59 UTC, Chest Form Gimmighoul will be appearing in Tera Raid Battles.

The Chest Form Gimmighoul appearing in this event will have various Tera Types, and you’ll be able to find them in 1- to 5-star Tera Raid Battles. If you challenge one in a 5-star Tera Raid Battle, you’ll have a small chance to encounter a Shiny Chest Form Gimmighoul, which doesn’t appear during regular gameplay!

What Is a Tera Raid Battle?

In a Tera Raid Battle, you’ll work together with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokémon encountered during Tera Raid Battle events will vary. Pokémon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera Type.

Information about Tera Raid Battle Events

• To participate in Tera Raid Battle events, please download the latest Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. You do not need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to receive the latest Poké Portal News.
• A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) is required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online. Terms apply. Learn more at https://www.nintendo.com/switch-online.
