Nintendo just dropped system update version 21.0.0 for the Nintendo Switch, and it’s packed with small but useful changes. You’ll now see symbols above game icons on the HOME Menu showing if a title is physical or digital, and you can download data for virtual game cards even when the “Use Online License” setting is off. Save Data Cloud Backup info has been refreshed, and the “Platinum Point Notification Settings” option is now called “Nintendo Switch Online Notification Settings.” The update also adds new transfer options for moving to a Switch 2, lets you tweak volume in VR mode, and improves overall stability.
