Pokémon Pokopia multiplayer explained: How to visit, build and share worlds

Pokémon Pokopia offers several multiplayer options on the Nintendo Switch 2, blending online and local play with flexible ways to connect. Players can invite up to three friends to visit their towns using Link Codes, though visitors are limited to Spectator Mode and cannot alter anything. For full co-op building, Palette Town acts as a shared sandbox where players can create together, while Cloud Islands provide persistent online spaces with shared progress and rewards. There is also a Virtual Mode for showcasing builds without edits, plus a GameShare feature that lets others join even if they do not own the game.
