Nintendo announced that the official My Nintendo Store will officially be renamed Nintendo Store on May 27. Despite the branding update, the company says there will be no changes to the actual service, meaning users can still expect the same digital purchases, account functions and overall storefront experience. The move appears to be more of a simplification of Nintendo’s online branding rather than a major overhaul. For most users, the transition should be seamless, with the only noticeable difference being the updated name and branding across the storefront and related materials.
