The Pokémon Company International has announced that the 2027 Pokémon North America International Championships will be held in Chicago, marking a new destination for one of the biggest events on the competitive Pokémon calendar. The annual championship serves as the final International Championships event of the season and features top-level competition in Pokémon Video Game Championships, Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE. Following the conclusion of the 2026 event in New Orleans, players and fans now have their sights set on Chicago as they prepare for another year of Championship Points races, high-stakes matches and qualification opportunities on the road to the Pokémon World Championships.
