Pokémon GO has announced a special GO Fest 2026: Global Sunday Raid event as compensation for a technical issue that prevented some Trainers in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa from joining Raid Battles during GO Fest 2026: Global. The event will take place on July 26 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time for Trainers in time zones UTC+14 through UTC+0, bringing back the original Sunday raid lineup with Mega Mewtwo Y appearing in Super Mega Raids, one-star raids featuring Pikachu wearing Team Instinct, Team Mystic and Team Valor hats, rotating five-star raids across the Earthforged Domain, Verdant Anomaly and Twilight Battlefield habitats and themed Mega Raids throughout the day. Trainers can earn up to nine free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs, Pokémon caught from five-star raids and Mega Raids may feature Special Backgrounds, Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids may also have a Special Background with an additional visual effect when Mega Evolved and Premier Balls will be more effective at catching Pokémon after raids. Trainers who previously purchased the Road of Legends Deluxe Pass will also receive an additional 5,000 XP from completed raids, three extra Candy and one additional Candy XL from five-star and higher raids, the Link Charge cap will increase to 2,000 and there will be no limit on Remote Raids for all Trainers worldwide from July 25 at 1 p.m. PDT through July 26 at 12 p.m. PDT.
