Pokémon Sleep‘s monthly New Moon Day event returns from Aug. 12 at 4 a.m. to Aug. 15 at 3:59 a.m. local time, giving players another chance to encounter the Mythical Pokémon Mew and Darkrai across all research areas with increased appearance rates regardless of sleep type. During the three-day event, Pokémon will be less likely to become full during the first snack time each day, players can encounter Shiny Pokémon at boosted rates and every encounter with a featured Mythical Pokémon will award three additional friendship points. Only one featured Mythical Pokémon can appear during the first sleep research session each day, with encounter odds gradually increasing if one is not found, while successful encounters also increase the total number of Pokémon that can appear in a single research session. Alongside the event, New Moon Day Bundle Vol. 16 will be available from Aug. 10 through Aug. 15 for 1,200 diamonds, containing one Ultra Biscuit, three Great Biscuits, 10 Poké Biscuits and three Friend Incense to help players befriend Pokémon during the limited-time event.
