The Pokémon × Kogei: Playful Encounters of Pokémon and Japanese Craft exhibition is now being held at the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum from July 10 through Sept. 23, 2026, bringing Pokémon-inspired works from some of Japan’s leading craft artists to the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. Originally launched in 2023 at the National Crafts Museum in Kanazawa, the traveling exhibition features around 100 pieces that reinterpret Pokémon through traditional Japanese craftsmanship, with new works added for the Hiroshima showcase.
